The Hardest Thing

a mom doin her best started this conversation

Hi, I am a single mom of 4 amazing children and this is the first year i havent been able to figure something out and its truly killing me..I have 3 girls ages 13-10-7 and 1 boy age 8...They know I cant get them much if anything this year, but whats killing me is that they have hope and faith sayin mommy dont worry Santa wont forget us so its ok...but how does a mom tell her kids there is no one being Santa this year....I feel for all the families out there tryin to make ends meet and I pray something good happens to each and everyone of the children on Christmas morning..I would give everything I have to be able to see my kids smile when they say see mom santa came,u had nothing to worry about(but deep down i know this is not going to happen) I am not ready for my kids to stop believing and having faith..what does a mommy do?!?!?

Tell them the truth. Santa Claus is not real and you don't have enough money to get them presents. Go to a place where you can get free clothes and you will find that people toss very nice stuff. Get them things from there and it won't cost you anything, they won't know the difference.
